Kings Cross removed the old platform bridge as part the redevelopment and are replacing it with a new modern footbridge. They removed it as one piece as I think it was listed and were due to store it until a new use could be found.
I’m not sure whether they have found a taker as yet. Perhaps they could use this to replace the current St Georges Bridge spanning the Inner Ring Road as its length is probably about the right size. This could improve the entrance into Little Woodhouse as well act as a tourist draw for the city and the area.
